KILLING
VIDEOGAME FORUMS ?

Sadly, rather than fanboy, we should use the word "antiboy". More and more, these company dedicated guys (I know it sounds silly said this way, but this is what is going on here) are far more interested in denigrate other companies than celebrate their favourite one. And so, any newbie on most forums happy to share his feelings about the last game he loved, would very soon have to face sarcastic answers, related to the name of the console on which the game runs. And of course will be classified in the pro-X, official ennemies of the pro-Y and pro-Z...

Actually, this way of thinking reminds a lot of racism or hate between different religious extremists : you feel belonging to a camp and then hate and fight anyone who is not in it, whoever he is as a person... In this situation, how could any constructive debate or passionate discussion be ? Extremism and forum are opposite, but today a lot of so called gamers seem to have forget it.

Like most of the "isms", fanboyism is a disgrace and any free mind on the web or anywhere should fight it with no mercy. So, friends of free expression and gaming, let's forget the name of our favourite companies and focus on our favourite games... and if we have to fight, let's fight fanboyism, on game forums and also inside us.
